MS: Tell us about your path to Moringa School

JL: Well my path to Moringa School was so interesting. I thought, just like other schools, you have to come do your admission with your papers but to my surprise we had interviews instead and it was cool.

MS: Why Moringa School?

JL: I choose Moringa because I was eager to learn more about technology practically since in my school, I was only taught the theory.

MS: What are you looking to achieve at the end of the program?

JL: Apart from HTML/CSS, Java, JS/JQ and Ruby/rails/regex, I would like to learn more languages, and make 5 functional apps for rails and android.
MS: Tell us about a typical day at Moringa School

JL: No day is the same, there’s lots to learn, each day offers me the opportunity to learn more about myself, from what I’m good at to what I like and don’t like. These opportunities offer me the chance to grow and get better.
MS: Is there anything you’d like to build at the end of your time at Moringa School?

JL: At the end of my time at Moringa School I would like to build two things; One is an app for schools. I usually get frustrated when I search for information about a certain school and I end up getting nothing at all. This app will be a better platform for many who have gone through that as well and can find a certain school progress.
And the second one is a photographer listing mobile app, where you can get access to photography services on the go.

MS: What’s the most fun thing that has happened to you at Moringa so far?

JL: The most fun thing that has happened to me at Moringa so far is learning how to hacking a Wi-Fi connection on my own (with good intention obviously :-)), and creating 15 websites and lots more
MS: What would you tell anyone looking to apply at Moringa School?

JL: When in Moringa you need to have the passion and the drive to go on. It will be a tough road and you will go through ups and downs but you need to keep on moving and keep on trying till you get there cause giving up will only do you more harm than good.
